  1. There really is nothing to worry about! I was a freshman last year. I remember freshman orientation. my knees where knocking and shaking and everything, but it all turned out fine in the end. +& tomorrow you will most likely make really cool friends.

  2. I'mm stuck with u...and in the middle of trying to settle down from hearingI'mm gonna have head surgery...anyways,I'mm always in this situation. be your self dont worry about anything just do this u usually do...even though im a freshman too, ive been put in these situations by moving every 3 years.

  3. Eh don't worry about it. It's most likely going to be a waste of time anyway.

  4. Well I went to my orientation and it was great... especially with going to a new school... If your nervous, just walk up to someone and say hi,

  5. Eh, don't worry about it. You basically go to the school building, pick up your schedule, visit your locker and classrooms, and go home. Don't bother trying to make friends at this event -  it's not a good time; everyone will be moving different directions. Plus, if you do meet some knew people, disappointment might arrive quickly upon realizing that you two have no classes together. It's better just to do all of these things once the new year begins.

Anyway, my advice to you would be to not believe any vicious rumors you hear about high school; they're not true. However, as a freshman, be aware that the teachers WILL give priority to the upperclassmen in classes containing multiple grades (personality-wise, not in terms of academic assistance).

Overall, high school really is a fun and rewarding experience. You can make it how you want it. Have fun, and don't fret.

  6. I agree with Jim. Don't expect to make friends during orientation.
