Do you think high school relationships last a life time now a days?

What happened with your high school sweetheart?

I'm still with mine and we're getting married next year!

(I'll be 22 and he'll be 21!) So I think we've waited long enough!

I wouldn't say yes and I wouldn't say no. I wouldn't say yes because there are times when any of us out there found that we would change mind about our special someone because of the fact we would worry about our work more than creating value time together. Or the fact we would want to spend more time with friends and families often, although we would often regret/misses that someone. I wouldn't say no because there are out there that follows more to the heart than whatever else comes in their way.

My high school sweetheart turned out to be g*y so he's probably boning some other dude in West Hollywood :-)

I married him.

Sometimes they last, sometimes they don't. I wouldn't bet on mine. People change as they get older & now that we've changed we realize we have nothing in common. I would suggest waiting until you're at least 22 to decide whether you want to spend the rest of your life with someone.

She's sitting right here next to me. We're watching a movie together. Our oldest boy just walked into the house, and we wished him a happy 28th birthday. We've been married 31 years, and a couple of months. We've had 5 kids in total, and are grand parents of three. High school relationships, just like any other relationship, can last a lifetime. Just like any other relationship, it depends on the individuals involved, and how committed to each other they are.
