High school sweethearts.....?

me and my fiance have been together for 2 years (almost) and we have been best friends for 5 years (almost 6).... we still have not had a "big" fight and everyday i feel closer and closer to him....he is the best thing that has ever come into my life and the only guy i ever want to be with! We were high school sweethearts... although some people think we should wait we are getting married in april they say we should be engaged longer (he asked me in June) but i think 9 months is long enough and we were talking about "us" getting married even before we were dating...do u guys think we should wait to or take a dive into the deep end lol

If that is when you guys want to get married then do it. Dont accomodate your life to meet other peoples needs or feelings. Go with the flow and plan a nice wedding and just see what happens. Plenty of high school sweet hearts get married and things work out. i have been with my boyfriend for 3 years and we have yet to have the "big" fight either. Some people just work better together than others. Go for it! good luck.

Are you trying to convince us, or yourself?  I don't think you would ask this question to a million strangers, unless you were having doubts.  The ONLY person who knows is you, and if you need to discuss it...your fiance.  If you're trying to please others and are taking a poll...what if the votes were 100 - 1 not to get married, would you call off the wedding?  Honestly, ask yourself why you are nervous about this at all...there is a real reason somewhere.  Be true to you and you'll be happy for the rest of your life!

Whoa! This situation sounds similar to what mine will sound like very soon....lol.  I say if you both understand that marriage is a LIFETIME thing and you are financially stable to begin living as a family, dive in baby.....it can only get better ; )

as long as you are financially and mentally capable, and as long as you are both on the same level, go for it.

you guys should wait, go to college, figure yourself out, and then decide if each other is really who you want to be with forever. there is always someone else out there who could suit you better ;)
