Question:

High white blood cells high platelets low red blood cells..need answers!!!?

My daughter had vomiting nausea,blurred vision,confusion,low grade fever, high heart rate,dizziness,acute psychosis.Her white blood count was 15.100 her platlets were 381 her red blood cells and hemoglobin were 2.32 and 7.6 almost everything showed up either high or low.She is still very weak,pale,confused,dizzy.What could be causing her symptoms?What could cause her blood work to be all messed up? She went to the hospital twice they did a lumbar puncture,C T of brain and an EEG that was normal .Please help me figure this out.

  1. She could (don't freak because it isn't a absolute answer) have ALL, a form of leukemia. If she has history of anemia or anything of the blood it can be highly possible. Has she been prone to easy bruising? My advice is to go to the doctors and ask them to check for that. I take medical classes and we are currently studying this type of signs and symptoms. It is better to detect it earlier so it is easier to cure.  


  2. well im sorry but i don't know what to say because im not a doctor. you might find it poitnless that i've replied but all i can say is from my experience of human biology, and all i know is that if there's a high level of white blood cells, there's deffinately some sort of infection or something "atttacking" your daughter's immune system, becuase it's like the defence , and the more they are needed, as in the more "invaders" the higher the level of them are.

    i cant believe the doctors cant tell you what it is...... i hope everything is okay and that your daugther makes a speedy recovery from whatever it is that she is going through..
