can anyone help with this question please?

The solute concentration of blood plasma is kept within narrow limits.

how does this ensure that red blood cells maintain their biconcave shape?

and the other question is state a possible function of the molecule x ( which is protein)

  3. if there were too many- the blood cells would be flattened and squished. and if there weren't enough, the two "concaves" wouldn't stay compressed inwards and would form a more spherical shape.

    and molecule x could be an enzyme. this is because enzymes are proteins. Enzymes main function is to catalyse biological reactions.

    An example could be the enzyme protease, whose job it is to digest proteins.

    ohh i misread the last question. i thought it said (which is A protein)

    if the question is asking you what protein does- then say growth and repair.

    otherwise- if it is asking an example of a molecule of protein and what it's role is- go with my original answer.
