Highest pay for an english teacher...?

What country has the highest pay for English teachers? I taught in Thailand for a few months while on vacation but only got like 300 baht an hour. sniff...Id like to actually live well somewhere. I have a college degree too by the way.

Try Hong Kong (international schools).  I've seen over 7,500 USD a month excluding the benefits and health etc.

In the US teacher's make about $40 K a year.

I saw a teaching job in the Green Zone in Baghdad that was paying something like $7,500 a month.  You need State Department security clearance, but there you go.  I think you get your meals included, and all the sight seeing you dare to attempt.
