  1. The owner is the one who is the big boss.  He hires and or elect the president or CEO.

The term CEO means Chief Executive Officer.  Usually the CEO is a member of the board of directors and is the chairman of the Executive Committee of the board.

The President is the highest paid employee in the company, members of the board of directors receive per diem or allowances for their function and are therefore not full time employees.

In some companies, the CEO is another person than the president.  In others, the President is also the CEO.  In some, the owner is the CEO and also president.

  2. President......

  3. CEO

  4. Owner

  5. Owner, chairman.  Pretty much depends on the corporate structure.

  6. President and Owner can be the same thing.  Normally the there is not an owner with a company that has a CEO or President because its incorporated.  So essentially they are all synomous in meaning but not necessarily in definition.
