I live in a warm climate where Spring/Summer temperature highs average around 88â°F (31â°C). My job keeps me away from home sometimes for months at a time. I am trying to determine the best temperature setting for my thermostat. I would like to put it as high as possible to save energy and reduce costs (my central air system is new but still uses a large amount of energy), however I do not want to risk the house being too warm and that causing humidity/mold issues. If I am leaving for a month long trip, what should I do?
