Highland Warrior tipped to win Jinyu - tyregiant.com Handicap (Div II)
Highland Warrior is tipped to prevail in the Jinyu - tyregiant.com Handicap (Div II) at Beverley in England on Wednesday, June 13, 2012. A cash prize of £1,941 has been set for the winner of the class-6 event.
The going will be good to soft in the 5 furlong race, which is scheduled to start at 15:00 GMT. A total of nine runners have been attracted towards the event and their names are as follows: Hab Reeh, Highland Warrior, Pinball, Tagula Breeze, Perfect Honour,
Tuibama, Drumpellier, Lujiana and Wotatomboy.
Out of the above mentioned runners, the best chances of victory appear to be with Highland Warrior, as he has got plenty of experience and has been delivering consistent results over the past few months. Furthermore, the conditions will also suit him, thus
the punters will be interested in placing a lot of bets on him.
The 13-year-old gelding has participated in 133 races, which proves that he will be fully aware of tackling pressure situations. In addition to his victories, he has also finished runner up on 14 occasions whereas took the third spot on the same number of
times.
In his most recent outing, the Paul Midgley’s trained runner was unable to make a big impression, as he finished fourth overall. He was not rated favourite back then and was up against some quality horses. However, he still managed to do a decent job in
the end.
Highland Warrior will be partnered by seasoned jockey, Micky Fenton, who has won quite a few races at this level, but has a poor strike rate. He will need to be a lot more consistent in order to attract more bets from the punters.
The bookies have shown more confidence in the abilities of Hab Reeh, who does not have a lot of experience, but is carrying a decent momentum right now. He has entered 12 events, winning one of them whereas took the runner up and third position on the same
number of times.
Importantly, the four-year-old gelding finished first in his most recent race, which would have given him a lot of confidence. His supporters will be expecting him to deliver a similar run in order to outperform his rivals.
