Highlife Dancer hot favourite to succeed in JRL Sports Promotions Handicap
Highlife Dancer has got a very good chance of dominating the proceedings in the JRL Sports Promotions Handicap at Bath in England on Wednesday, September 5, 2012. All of his opponents have been quite inconsistent in recent times whereas he is carrying a
decent momentum right now, which will help him do well in the class-6 event.
The weather at Bath has been dry over the past few days, thus the conditions are very good for racing. None of the participants will have any issues with the track, thus they should all appear in the 1 mile, 5 furlong and 22 yard race, which has a cash prize
of £1,704 for the winner.
Looking at the performances and overall record of all the contestants, it is pretty much clear that Highlife Dancer will be the one to beat at the end of the day. He is in good form and has performed well with consistency over the past couple of years. Due
to this, he has been priced 7 to 4 by the bookmakers and the bettors will also not hesitate while placing bets on him.
The four-year-old gelding has appeared in a total of 32 races, winning seven of them. His strike rate is not bad at all, but he will be aiming to improve it in the future. In addition to his victories, he has finished as a runner up thrice whereas took the
third spot on a couple of times as well.
However, the Mick Channon’s trainee has not won any race at Bath. He has appeared in just a couple of events at this venue and gave mixed performances in them. In his first outing on this track, he managed to end up second out of four runners. This was not
a bad result, but he struggled to make an impression next time around and had to settle for seventh place in the end.
Despite that, Imperial Dancer’s son will not be under a lot of pressure at the moment, as he did well in his precious two races. He finished on top in the penultimate one whereas secured the runner up place in the most recent. His partner Charles Bishop
will be looking for a continuity of solid form today.
