Highlighter on polyester, anyway to get it out?

Question

i just noticed that a yellow highlighter had fallen into my cloths basket and has been dying my favorite blue polyester shirt (atleast i think its polyester really know nothing about clothing but it has a soft and silky feeling to it) to the point that about 30% of the whole shirt is completely covered with a huge yellow blotch, I'm almost certain that I'm just gonna have to toss it but if there is anything i could do to get it out id be very grateful to find out :P and thanks in advance if you have the info im lookin for.
