Highlights or lowlights for brown hair?

I have lightisht brown hair and I want streaks, but what colours? I want it to look rich and full but also natural.

Plus, what's the diffrence between lowlights and highlights?

i would go for both to give it more demention. high lights would be blonde-ish for you(they make your hair lighter) and lowlights would be darker brown(they make your hair darker)

the difference is that lowlights are darker than your basic color and highlights are lighter-http://i25.tinypic.com/2lnx1j5.jpg

so for brown hair lowlights would be :dark brown or black and highlights would be :blond, light brown ,red, anything lighter than ur color.

i think if your hair is light brown: blond highlights

if your hair is medium brown:dark brown lowlights

and if your hair is dark brown:black lowlights or light brown highlights

Highlights are when you are trying to make light hair dark and lowlights is opposite. You should choose shades of brown with one lowlight like ash blond. Try two colors. Good luck!!
