Highschool Halloween party?!?

Question

I know its early for this, but i have to start planning now!

I'm a sophomore in high school, but the party would be for people of every high school year level.

I was wondering what we could do.. like dance, bonfire out back.. etc..

This will also be a costume party for whoever wants to wear one.. bad idea?

And food?

Also, i could have this in my basement or garage, what do you think?

I don't really know since I'm not in high school yet, but you can have costume contests, dancing, food, music, ect.

If you have it in the garage, people can go out side a lot easier...I would suggest a bonfire if possible ..that is always fun no matter how old you are...if you think people wont dress up...you can have a "Scariest mask" contest.. but offer that anyone can dress up of course...it is Halloween and many teens love to do that!!!!.I would have games that is always fun....guess how many spiders in the jar........find some good music and then some Halloween scary sounds for the background as well.....if you just want snacks you can look online and search Halloween snacks for teens and a lot of sites will come up..maybe you can get the seniors to volunteer and help set up a haunted trail.....put up cloth lines and sheets for the sides........have fun!!!!!!!!!!!.

Haloween is my fav holiday, i think the bonfire is a great idea, and make it mandatory to dress up! it sounds like a blast! have snacks and a keg!

Bob for apples. Have hay rides. Play games like Clue and 13 Dead End Drive. Play appropriate music -- be it novelty songs (i.e. Bobby "Boris" Pickett's "Monster Mash" and Warren Zevon's "Werewolves of London"); creepy songs (i.e. Mike Oldfield's "Tubular Bells" and Bloodrock's "D.O.A."); or both. Serve refreshments like orange Kool-Aid, cider, caramel apples, Dirt Cups, and cupcakes, large cakes, and candy shaped like (or topped with decorations that look like) black cats, eyeballs, witches, etc. Or do some combination thereof.

Im not in high school yet but i think you should do it in your basement. put scary things there, like you can buy one of those scary lifesize vampires that talk. Put a keep out sign on the door, and buy fake blood, and fake vomit. Get a table and put snacks on it with the fake vomit next to it. Make it as realistic as possible!. If you can also use you garadge you should make it into a haunted house!! Buy smoke makers and super scary music. If you have a grandma, or an adult there with you make them be witches or vampires. They could pretend they are those talking dolls, and them when everyone things the haunted house is lame the parent would keep on following them and get a real chain saw and turn it on and try to kill them. (pretend) Reamember make it as realistic as you can, and a coustume party is also a great idea!!!!
