  1. well, the first thing is not to be nervous and just do what you know how to do. i would'nt suggest trying to show off (like jump-serving) unless you are confident that you can. also, hussle EVERYWHERE.. coaches are always looking for people who run everywhere they go, and chances are that if you walk, that will be the one time the coach looks at you.. so just to be safe run everywhere you go. it also helps to look at the other people trying out for you position, notice the things they are doing right or wrong.. and do/don't do them. Volunteer alot also, that way you will have the coach looking at you more.

  2. have a goood attitude

  3. work on sevring setting spiking and postions. work with someone on practing

  4. be LOUD and confident.

always call the ball and dont be afraid to go for it

never assume that another girl will get it. just call it and go

think quick..you gotta make a fast decision on how to hit it, and where its gonna go after that.

listen to the coach. be very intentive and willing to listen to what they have to say or any advice.

same here..ive never actually playyed volleyball on a team but im doing a camp this week to get ready for tryouts too..

serving..hm idk just practice a lot on your swing cuz you definitely need to serve good to get on a team. i need to work on that myself..

just try to be physically ready..like maybe go on a few runs. dont get too sore..do some pushups/situps every night and just go outside and hit the ball around.

    good luck!

    :)

  5. Don't be nervous!! Be sure to warm up well. Remember to practice you sets, hits, and ESPECIALLY SERVES!!! If you can over-hand serve, you have a likely chance of making it, even if you aren't the best passer etc.. Listen, and use any tips fellow team mates and coaches give you. Good luck (you won't need it)
