Will taking 3 years of science drastically decrease my chances of going to state/UC instead of taking 4yrs?

i currently have 3yrs. I don't like my current AP Env. class.

  1. If you really believe it will hurt your chances for admission, then take the AP Env. class anyway.  However, if you think your lack of enthusiasm will cause you to do poorly, take something else.  But maybe calling the college itself and asking what they look for in an ideal student is a good idea.


  2. For a UC School, you need a year of life science (Like Biology) and a year of physical science (Like Chemistry)

    UC Schools like you to go beyond the requirements. (Take 3 years of Science instead of 2 for example).

    You've already done 3 years of science, and unless you're planning to major in something scientific, you're fine if you transfer. Just make sure you don't transfer into something less difficult than AP Env.

    If you want to major in something science related, it's best to stick with your class.
