  1. Any fight is kind of any mans fight depending on the circumstances. It could depend on if the karate guy has ever really fought anyone, who could take more punishment, etc.

Either of them could win, too many factors unknown on how they wold react in a real situation.

  2. Any fight between 2 people is always a toss up . There are too many other factors involved ... who got off the first shot ? How well did he connect?  etc.etc.etc.  I've seen a lot of fights in my day and the biggest strongest guy doesn't always win .

  3. weight lifter 9 times out of 10.  3 months of karate is just enough to break down what instincts you had, but not enough to have built up new instincts yet.  He might land one sloppy kick or punch before the musclehead puts him in a head lock on knocks him to the ground.  There his strength (and probably weight) and general athleticism would carry the day.

  4. There are more factors to be considered, but just based on the info here, the tank; 3 months of karate isn't really enough to learn anything that would make much of a difference

Now three months on the wrestling team, that's a different story.....

  5. It all depends on lots of factors, three months of Karate may not mean much, especially if the other person has experience, but you never know.  Last week at my school a 10th grade kid got into a fight with a Senior football player and ended the fight in 3 seconds with a kick the the balls.  You never know what will happen and what techniques will be used.

  6. Chuck Norris.

  7. The toughest kid will win.

  8. In reality it depends on who wants it more.  If everything was equal I would go with the person who's being trained in how to fight.  It doesn't necessarily matter how big a person is or how much weight they can push around.  Most big guys are just big.  They'll try to pick you up or take the fight to the ground.  But, that's about all they can do.  Look at Marines.  Most of them are not big, Schwarzenegger looking guys.  Most of them are pretty lean, but they are some bada** guys.

  9. It really depends on how much the karate kid has learned in those three months. All you really need to fight is to understand how to throw a punch or kick correctly, how to evade/block/take a punch or kick, and have a basic understanding of grappling.

Another thing to consider is how much better shape the weight lifter is in, what his stamina like ect. The weed smokng may not be a big factor if he's in otherwise good shape and isn't high during the fight.

Since neither one of them has been in a fight, I'm going to guess the bigger guy wins. Three months of karate isn't a very long time at all, and while karate is better than nothing, three months of it isn't going to give you much of an edge over the average joe who can throw a punch.

  10. Anything can happen in a fight.  But if the one guy has been in hockey fights, it  probably means he can take a few punches without panicking.  It might not be the same as a fight on dry land, but it still counts as experience.

  11. If it's a real fight, the one that lifts weights will win(most of the times)
