is high school as scary as people say it is?

not to me,or alot of people but it can be.Just think of it this way everything in life is what you make it,so if you make highschool scary its going to be scary if you don't its not gonna be scary.for the most part its actually fun,meeting new people and learning new things

Its only scary if you let upper classmen intimidate you.  They were freshmen at one point and time too, and soon you will be an upper classmen.  

Enjoy it because it goes by really fast.  No time to be scared!

And its better if you stay away from bad influences...

Just behave like a good freshman.  You can be an all powerful senior in a few years and pick on the freshies then all you want.

**Not all freshman are hated, just those who think they are as good as everybody else.

Other than that, get involved, and have a blast! Never try to be something you're not. Oh, and don't sleep with a senior.  It wont make you cool.  It will make him cool and you a 14 year old girl with ghonnorea

We all have our group of friends, cool teachers, great food and classes.

It's not this horrible place where everyone is a social outcast..

Nope. High school was fun for me, but I wouldn't redo it though.  I was scared too as a freshman, I always saw on TV, the 9th graders get stuffed into trashcans and stuff. But nobody does that...at least not at my high school.  It can either be h**l or a fun experience depending on how you make it.

There are going to be a lot of people that don't like you, and people who you don't like.

But, you're going to learn a lot about yourself, and it's a very fun step in your life.

No..I thought it was going to be terrible.

I thought people were going to shove me into lockers and trash cans but it's really not that bad at all.

I actually thought it was much funner then Jr. High , although the first week or two I was totally scared of Underclassmen but they don't really pay much attention to freshmen.

No. I thought middle school would be scary too but it wasn't all bad. I'm looking forward to it because I'd like to make more than one friend and to get away from home's usual dullness. It'll be scary your first day but it's always like that. My neighbor who graduated says as long as you don't try to act all mocho and all that you won't be picked on.
