  1. Take honors Geometry who cares about all those other dumbasses. By the way Geometry is real easy nearly most of it is triangles and Circles

  2. Take honours geometry rather than honours algebra since you passed the placement exam for AP Geometry. As for being considered a nerd simply because you're taking AP classes, think nothing of it. High school is always a bit of a pain, even when you're admired; but it's a great way to hone your social and networking skills and increase your overall viability when it's done right. You're in the process of setting up for your future. Universities favour those who take and excel in their AP course selections which should gain you access towards finding a good job should you be headed in the areas of engineering, computer programming, business marketing, architecture, and venture capitalism.

Though if you're concerned about being perceived as a nerd, make sure you join a team sport in conjunction with your AP courses at least for one or two semesters. Dress sharp but classically understated with just a hint that you don't really care or that you're trying (Landsend.com, Brooks Brothers, L.L. Bean, LaCoste, Ralph Lauren, Kenneth Cole, Claiborne, Calvin Klein, Penguin, Converse, J. Crew, and Nautica), and make sure you're always fresh and clean, smell nice and have good breath. A good styling product shall help as well and regarding clothes, flat front trousers in a solid colour with solid colour shirts in colours that look good on you. Just put the shirt up to your face and if it makes you look tired or washed out, then it's not the right colour for you.

Think of everything you now do as an investment for your future. In clothing, it isn't the amount spent that matters, but the quality behind the clothing.

    Cheers

  3. my friend skipped 9th grade math this year, and next year will be in 11B Honors. you won't be called a nerd, i promise. if you got into honors geometry, deffinatley try it. it won't be too hard for you.

  4. I skipped algebra and went into geometry my freshman year.  I definately reccomend it.  Now my senior year I don't have to take math if I didn't want to or I could take college math.  Plus in most high schools its easier to drop down if the class is to hard than move up if a class is to easy.  And don't worry about people thinking your a nerd

  5. who cares if people think you are a nerd?

is that really going to stop you from taking the better class?

think again about what is more important

it is better to take the advanced classes, that is what colleges look at

    =D

  6. Geometry trains you to prove things step by step, so it is extremely important. If you can skip algebra, skip it. Some freshmen even take algebra 2.

Also, the students in algebra are the drop outs, the burnt out, and the less motivated. You do not want to study in that environment.
