Highschool uniforms?

Ya I'm going to highschool and the uniforms are disgusting! wth do i do to make myself look better?

unbotton the top button, have good hair, it doesn't really matter because everyone else has the same clothes on

can you decorate the uniform? if so, express yourself that way. if not, try with your hair. if it's long enough, you can do almost anything with it! keep yourself clean and smelling good, that's key. as long as you know everyone else will be wearing the same clothing, you can know that it's not that big of a problem.

Like the others have said, it won't matter because everyone else has to wear the same thing! Most schools have fashions even when there are uniforms and I'm sure you'll soon find out what they are. At my school people wear 'chunky' ties rather than thin ones, they shorten their skirts and they never do up the top buttons. Just accessorize with bracelets or earrings, a purse or bag, keep glossy hair, take stuff like deodorant, hairspray, wear perfume. I'll be fine though. You only wear it for less than half of the day and if people didn't have uniform then there might be lots of competition about who has the nicest clothes.

Also, you might have to check your highschool rules to see if you're allowed earrings etc. If you are, then great!

Since everyone is wearing the same thing, than have your style with your hair or accesories. Don't go overboard with the makeup, if you wear any, because it should still go with and look nice with your uniform; however, a good hair style or (if shoes aren't in the uniform) sneakers or shoelaces would be a nice touch. Uniform codes usually forget to mention shoelaces, and there are hundreds of styles out there.

figure out what the rules are for the dress code, I bet there are some loopholes like adding patches, or possibly adding other things to the uniform, you may take some heat but if you can find something that is not written in their policy there isn't much they can do until they re-write their dress code, or at least add to it.
