Highview Major to bag the sixth success of the season through the Coral.Co.UK Standard at Romford
The Coral.Co.UK Standard will get staged at Romford over 400 metres flat on Friday, 20th April. Taking part in the race that carries the £175 prize money are Hondo Willy, Rockchase Jack, Mountjoy Hawk, Hugo You Go, Droopys Pharaoh and Highview
Major.
The most accomplished and credible entry for the race is Highview Major, Crash’s four-year-old black son out of b***h, Coolemount Flair. He has raced through the new season eleven times already and has struck five victories out of those starts.
He was drilled twice after scoring second in his seasonal debut on 3rd January over 480 metres hurdle. He was practiced over the same distance at Wimbledon, first on 18th January and then on 25th of the same month.
His first try after the training sessions translated into a win as he bulleted through the 480 metres hurdle on 1st February at Wimbledon in 30.44 seconds and settling into the runner up’s place was Forest Rico.
He then claimed the second race of the season on 14th February over 265 metres by timing the track distance in 16.78 seconds and leading the runner up, Pretty Maldini, by four and a half lengths.
Highview Major then remained unsuccessful in the next two races, a third position and then stumbled on to a fifth ranking in the fifth start of the season.
On 6th March, he timed the 480 metres distance in 29.77 seconds at Sittingbourne and led the runner up, Lenson Maymay, by six lengths. He then scored second in a Grade A1 480 metres flat at Sittingbourne on 18th March by clocking the
distance in 29.33 seconds.
The race was won by Bumbleebee Casey who settled the race in 29.31 seconds. The 5/4 favourite of the race, Pennys Forum, settled third after taking 29.34 seconds.
The 480 metres race at Sittingbourne on 22nd March turned into the fourth position.
29th March brought him a Grade A1 480 metres at Sittingbourne that Highview Major settled in 29.32 seconds. The 2/1 favourite winner led the runner up, Gracie Mae, by 1 ¾ lengths.
Till yet the last victory for Highview Major was in a Grade A1 480 metres flat at Sittingbourne on 7th April after he timed the 480 metres distance in 29.04 seconds.
The last outing on 17th April turned into a second score which was actually to turn into a hat trick. The loss might as well get Highview Major to bag the race tonight.
