Even though Los Blancos thrashed Milan 5-1 in a pre-season friendly game, Gonzalo Higuain is of the opinion that his side can do better than what they have already achieved.
Real Madrid are currently on a pre-season friendly tour and they have thrashed almost each and every side that has come their way. The only loss they suffered was against Benfica, when they lost the game 5-2.
However, Madrid’s most recent fixture was against the Italian giants, AC Milan, and Jose Mourinho’s men were able to win 5-1 against the former Italian champions.
Even though it is a huge win for the Spanish champions, Gonzalo Higuain believes that Real Madrid are only getting started and they can achieve more than what they already have.

This season, the Spanish champions are expected to challenge for the UEFA Champions League, and currently Los Blancos are favourites to win the European cup.

While speaking in regard to the upcoming fixtures, Gonzalo Higuain sent out a warning to all the oppositions, stating that the 5-1 thrashing to AC Milan is only the beginning of what Madrid are capable to doing.
Higuain believes that these are only pre-season games, and the squad is still trying to get back into its perfect shape.
While speaking about the friendly games, and the upcoming season, Higuain said:
"These are preparation games and is good for us to get victories, but we are just starting, picking up pace.”
"There is still a week until the start the season and hope to get there at our best."
