Real Madrid’s Gonzalo Higuain has taken out time to deny all rumours linking him to a transfer away from the Spanish giants and downplayed all speculations regarding his future.
In wake of his side’s victory over Athletic Bilbao in midweek, the Argentine appeared overjoyed as Los Vikingos secured their 32nd La Liga title.
Jose Mourinho’s men travelled to the Basque country in order to lock horns with Marco Bielsa’s men at the San Memes.
The match saw Los Merengues humble the host team to a 3-0 defeat as they sealed this year’s Spanish Primera trophy.

While talking to reporters, the 24-year-old was quoted as saying:
"We are happy and proud. We should enjoy this now. We’re like a family and we feel very happy. I don't want to talk about my future. I have a contract and I'm very happy here. We have to enjoy this now after fighting for a whole season. It was an important and special match [against Athletic] and we knew we would take the title if we won."
