The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Argentina-c2841 striker has little doubt that the Real Madrid manager will stay with the capital outfit and is looking to return to goal scoring after an injury spell.
To be honest, Spanish champions Real Madrid have had a troubled season so far and as things stand, the Blancos fans are already looking towards a season that has little hope, if any, left with its remainder.
From the drama surrounding their manager Jose Mourinho, to star player http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristiano-Ronaldo-c9629 being sad, and also not to forget the dressing room morale being at an all time low, Real Madrid fans have had to endure the prospect of hearing a bunch of ill news
every week.
The issue of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Iker-Casillas-c16815 being dropped for two consecutive league games in a highly controversial manner and the speculation surrounding Jose Mourinho due to the consequences of the bold decision has all not gone well over the past few months. But perhaps,
one news, which may have brought a little smile on the faces of the Madrid supporters, is star striker Gonzalo Higuain’s return to action.
The Argentine striker has always been a player on whom Madrid have relied happily in the past, and with him come goals. Despite the situation surrounding the defending champions of the league, Gonzalo believes that everything at Real is under control and
he has stated that the manager is going nowhere, despite feeling all the heat from fans and legends alike.
"Mourinho is still Real Madrid's coach and he remains under contract here. I think that he will stay at Madrid," Higuain said at a press conference."
"Everybody's united at Madrid. We all support Mourinho and he backs the team, too."
Higuain also committed himself to his current club and dismissed any talk of a potential move away from the Spanish giants.
"I ignore all the rumors about my future. I am completely focused on Real Madrid," he insisted. "I hope to start scoring again as soon as possible, but the most important thing for me is to feel physically well again."
Real Madrid are virtually out of contention for this year’s La Liga’s title as they are a massive 16 points behind league leaders http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 and now realistically have only the Champions League and the Copa del Rey to compete for.
