Higuain the most undervalued striker in Europe – La Liga News
Real Madrid striker, Gonzalo Higuain, is the most undervalued striker in Europe. The prolific striker is enjoying the form of his life but his valuation by Los Blancos is little for a player of his genius.
The Argentina international tops the list of attackers with the best scoring average. His scoring time of 47.8 minutes for each strike is a source of envy for strikers all across Europe. However, it is the only place where he leads the exalted company he
finds himself in.
Higuain leads Edin Dzeko, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-c33030 Aguero, Lionel Messi and Mario Gomez as the most efficient striker in Europe. Nevertheless, the forward continues to be the most undervalued player in this league of extraordinary gentelmen.
Real Madrid value El Pipita at 30 million Euros. On the other hand, Gomez and Dzeko are valued at 35 million Euros, while Aguero at 40 million Euros. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lionel-Messi-c22296 takes the cake in this respect and is valued at well over 100 million Euros.
The striker has a poor injury record which could be blamed for such a valuation. Of the previous five, Higuain has played only two complete seasons with the Spanish giants.
He has been marred by injuries one after another since his arrival from Buenos Aires, completing a paltry 52 matches from a total of 181.
Even with his record of incomplete outings for Real, a trend that has continued in the current season, he remains one of the most efficient strikers at club level.
In the Spanish capital, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Karim-Benzema-c20350 is second to him with a goal recorded every 108 minutes in domestic competitions.
Forever prolific http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristiano-Ronaldo-c9629 also trails the 23-year-old South American. The Portuguese captain boasts a scoring average of one in 129 minutes. He has the distinction of spending twice more time on the pitch than Higuain.
Broadening the horizons to European competitions gives a similar set of results with slight changes. El Pipita tops the table with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ronaldo-c31734 taking second spot and Benzema trailing the duo in third.
The 20-time capped http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Argentina-c2841 international got his first La Liga goal of the season in the fifth round demolishing 6-2 defeat of Rayo Vallecano and has not looked back since then.
He followed it up with two successive hat-tricks against Espanyol and Real Betis. Understandably, the Argentine has scored in every match he has started.
