on Tuesday, hence being put into a stern test.
“Five finals remain and we must win them come what may,” he said.
“The league title is at stake and we must remain calm to win every game. That’s all we think about,”
Higuain told the club’s official website.
“It was a complicated match. We knew Sporting would make it difficult for us and that they would defend as best as they possibly could. We worked hard for a victory and we’re happy.”
“We must now think about the Champions League and Bayern Munich,” he said.
“Bayern Munich are a tough opponent in a tie preceding the final we all want to play. We’ll rest in order to prepare well.”
Bayern Munich are Madrid’s next opponents and the German side are going to make things hard for the Spanish giants, who are currently experiencing a shaky form in the league.
