  1. Bring water...lots of water... make sure you have enough water to drink....

Also you better train yourself for the trek. Try trekking up smaller hills like Bukit Gasing, Bukit Tabur, Gunung Datuk, Gunung Angsi first to see if you are fit enough. Dont underestimate the trek. It could be difficult especially for beginner. Take advice from more experience trekkers. Eg, the previous post said its not advisable for beginners ...

  2. Yong tek lee i know la..

  3. I believe you are not going alone.

You have to check with your partner or the organiser on the foods.

Try not to bring too many can foods as you are advise to bring back all the empty can and rubbish.

You need at 45+10 or 50+10 backpack. (Look for those light weight stuff).

Beside your clothing, you need your sleeping bag, a rubber matt, raincoat (disposable type is light and cheap but need extra for just in case), a light weight wind breaker & cap.

Pack your cloth in set and roll it to make it in tube form and put it in to plastic bag before you pack it in to your backpack. To make it easier to pack, tie it with rubberbend.

For a 4days 3night hike, your minimum weight would be around 15kgs.

Bring some chocolate and raisin + oral dehydration salt & panadol (just in case)

  4. Do you have a place to stay at Mt Yong Yap, Perak?

Just bring some maggi mee, bread, cd, water, torch light, casual wear...

    alternative:sleeping bag, tent, soap,

  5. i never hear of it

  6. where is this place
