  1. On an automatic transmission vehicle hold the brake with your left foot and shift in Drive. Step on the accelerator (about 1/3 of the pedal move) and smoothly release the brake.

It's better to practice this on a desolate slope until you get the knack of it, instead of waiting for a stoplight with all the others cars honking behind you.

When you have mastered pulling off on a slope the car will not rollback at all.

  2. use your left foot on the brake and right foot on the gas pedal.

release your left foot when u step on the gas pedal with your right foot.

thats what i do when i start on a very steep hill

  3. Hold the car using the foot brake with your right foot. Just anticipate the traffic lights changing or the car in front moving  & move your right foot quickly to the accel pedal & gently squeeze.  It does take a little bit of skill but youll get used to it.  Dont worry about the car rolling back 10-20 mm. Good luck!

  4. Keep your foot on the brake as you give it the gas--the car will roll back only a few inches--no big deal--you will get better as you get experience. good luck

  5. get out there and practice

  6. I've been told it's possible, but very difficult.
