If people want to know who Hillary is... and her abilities of leadership, maybe they ought to read her autobiography .."It takes a Village"...there are not many saints in politics or anywhere so one must look at the overall picture of a person.

  1. You're absolutely right. Unfortunately, people are so passionate about who they want elected, we could have a candidate who was able to walk on water & fly, and they still would have unfair critics. Of course, Hillary has her skeletons as well. Seems the election is going to be about who has the least amount in their closet.

You probably know by now, elections are more mudslinging and negative campaigning, than focusing on who will be best for the country. What I don't think is right is that no matter who wins, the Democrats will have only 2 months of direct campaigning against McCain. McCain has been able to prepare for 2-3 months already.

  2. Memories can play tricks on people. Ask any cop about how eye-witnesses to a certain event can tell different stories.

However, being under fire is something someone is not going to EVER be mistaken about, one way or another. Hillary let loose with a whopper when she should have known better. This makes us wonder about anything else she is telling us.

It is my opinion that a tale such as the one she told could qualify for charges under the Stolen Valor Act.

Hillary can sling a lot of bull at us and get away with it. That's politics. But lying about being under fire is UNFORGIVABLE.

  3. Oh c'mon! Kosovo was so unbelievable it was comical! And she never had to mention it in the first place, which has lead some to think that she may be a pathological liar. It's one thing, like Obama, to be caught in a lie, it's quite another to bring one up on your own for no good reason and then have to backtrack. I agree, though, that Hillary's "sterling qualities" speak for themselves.

  4. Because that is politics. Obama, Clinton and McCain are all senators, they are all seen as good people who have done enough to receive support for the presidency. They are not Bush who had not federal govt experience before going in, their records are all there for people to see and nobody can say they will be as bad as bush in the presidency. But then they are all trying to convince not just the voters of one state, but the whole country, and people are going to find things wrong with them all. Little mistakes are big news, people react to little things like this, is this or that person trustworthy, because at the end of the day, there aren't many precise policies going around for people to have a go at. It is, if this person were president, would they be good. A mistake here, might mean a mistake there, maybe she would make a mistake with a nuclear weapon, or the wrong war etc.

This is how people think, and the politicians know that they can capitalise of these things.

    It's all a little game.

  5. Even sterling tarnishes.  So has she.  I wonder who WROTE that autobiography.  I don't believe a word that comes our of the mouth of ANYONE that I catch in an outright lie.

  6. what sterling qualities?

  7. Here is some information concerning Hill's history of "sterling qualities" LOL!

  8. People don't have their priorities straight, so most people will not read about a candidate that much before voting.  If bringing out the best or the worst in a candidate right now will change the majority vote than that is what will be done.  So, it is the offense on the other team that will bring out the worst in Hillary.  Personally I believe that democrats and republicans are on the same team.  The president isn't what makes the world go around, they don't change much, multi-billion dollar corporations however do.  Those corporations own the mainstream media which most people get their information from.  Whatever is in the best financial interest of those companies are going to be the topics that you hear about on tv.  If distracting the public with pointless issues will keep the majority of people wasting their time, than the corporations and government (muscle helping them), can keep on track with their real agendas and not get voted against.

  9. her sterling qualities? You must be talking about her uncanny ability to locate missing Rose Law Firm billing records in her whitehouse bedroom the day after the statute of limitations ran out (of which she had been denying their existence).

How about her sterling record of turning marines into waiters and butlers in the whitehouse, or her firing all of the travel staff simply because they would not do her bidding?

Or how about her sterling record of voting for the war in Iraq, then not voting for it?

It takes a village? No sir, it does not take a village to raise a child, It takes two parents. The village that Hillary has in mind to raise our children in the imperial federal government. Nanny state womb to tomb is what she has in mind. Do you?
