No, it's not disrespectful. McCain's campaign has nothing to do with Hillary.  McCain can choose who he wants.  Obama's actions in not even reaching out to Hillary voters have been far more disrespectful.

Although it was risky, it was actually a smart, strategic move on the part of the McCain campaign.

I think the Republicans have shown that women can be just as qualified for higher office as men.

But this is nothing new. After all the Republicans had the first Sec of Def. and Sec. of State who were black. We had the first female in Sec. of State as well.

Most female leaders who rise to powerful positions are conservatives. Leaders such as Schroeder in Germany, Thatcher in England, and Mire in Israel.

I think it's the Republicans that the leaders today in diversity and the breaking down of gender bias.

I think Hillary supporters are thrilled to see a woman accend the vice-presidency.
