Hillary Clinton will only divorce Bill Clinton if it is good for her political career.

If she had divorced him earlier, it might have made her seem like a better candidate in the sense that it would have shown some morality. However, she would have lost some momentum from riding on his coat tails. For whatever reason, a lot of people still like Bill Clinton.
