Question:

Hillary as VP? Place your bets here! Hillary as VP!...........? ?

My 'humble' opinion:

Obama HAS to select her as VP, and then the fight is on.

(Together the Obama and Clinton Machines will steamroller the GOP.)

I fear the Obama Machine will be too 'decent' to take on and defeat the 'GOP Spin and Smear Mafia' by themselves. By putting her on the ticket, (and getting all the Hillary grandads and grannies on board) the Obama campaign can concentrate on getting the message out there, while Hillary and Bill go after McCain and the Republicans. Plenty experience here. And it's going to be nasty and bloody.

And then, when Obama is President, he will have to figure out how to deal with them. (The Clintons.) Probably won't be easy, but if he is not man enough for the job, at least the US will have a Ex- Presidential Vice-Presidential Couple with basically the same policies - and with lots of experience - in charge. On the other hand, if he is able to forge a team with them, the US will probably be well on the way to world leadership and respect again.

Hillary as VP? Common sense, or what?

Opinions?

  1. I really wish she'd be picked as VP, but I think all hopes of that were crushed after she was allowed to vote at the convention. They would be undefeatable together, but sadly I don't see that happening. I bet she's given a cabinet position or becomes Senate Majority leader. They have as much as, if not more power than the VP does. Hillary's diehard supporters will have to wait until January, but I think it will all come together in the end.

  2. It won't happen. She does not want to be second in command. She could not handle the obscure role of first lady and I do not think she can handle being VP.  It might appease the Hillary supporters but it would upset the Obamicans.

  3. You are dreaming.  There is a sufficient number of intelligent and mature citizens in the country to easily prevent the Obama disaster from occurring.  He will not need a VP.

Maybe next election, four years from now you Democrats will be able to produce a candidate worth considering.
