Hillary couldn't beat Obama with the right taking her side, why do people keep saying she could win?

Hillary and the right both bashed Obama constantly during the primaries... and she still lost...

even if she had won, the right would have turned on her and crushed her with 8 years of propaganda they have on record...

does ANYONE remember the 90s and what conservatives said about Hillary then? some of the most horrible stuff in the world... and does anyone think that the right would stay quiet if they were going directly against Hillary?

basically Hillary got a TOTALLY FREE RIDE from her strongest detractors... when it was convenient for conservatives... do people think that would have continued if she was going against them directly?

  1. Those "people" are Republicans.

Don't listen to them.  They'll dumb you down.

  2. Not true, the right attacked Clinton and in fact crossed over in key states trying to ensure that Obama beat Clinton, because we couldn't.  The only way to do that was to divide and conquer the democrats.  It was a very specific and truly magnificent political strategy and it worked.

  3. She would have had a much better chance at winning this thing than Obama.  There's one thing you have conveniently forgotten.  Hillary has taken on the far right and beat them at their own game every time.  They spent millions of dollars trying to prove something, anything, against her and they couldn't even get an indictment.  Judges don't care about accusations that aren't backed up by evidence. They would have looked like idiots bringing up all that garbage again when they couldn't prove anything the first time around.  Hillary would have taken their lack of evidence and beat them over the head with it until they yelled "uncle" and our citizens would have loved it.  She's one h**l of a fighter.  And those who remember all of that mess remember very clearly the hypocrisy within the ranks of the right wing that attacked her again and again.  Think Newt Gingrich acting so above it all while he was cheating on his own wife at the same time he was haranguing Clinton for doing it.  And I do know quite a few Republicans who have no trouble saying that they would have voted for Hillary over McCain in a heartbeat, and who voted for her in the primary in my state.

And while you are pointing out that "she still lost" let me point something out to you.  If everything that is haunting Obama's candidacy - Rezko, Ayers, Wright, Farrakhan, etc. - had come out before Iowa, Hillary Clinton would be the nominee right now.  He had lucky timing.  By the time all that garbage came out he was already ahead of her.  Just look at how she tromped him in those last contests.  People were starting to catch on that Mr. Clean wasn't so clean, and they weren't liking his associations or his comments about those associations.  He got lucky and the polls show it.

  4. Simple, because she could.  She won the last 11 state contests in a row. She could especially now that people are finding out exactly who Obama is....

  5. Some Hillary supporters think that this wasn't an ordinarily election. Just look no further then Florida and Michigan for your answers. She also has something that Obama lacks which is experience. She owns this issue that is very important and that issue is called the economy... see. I still won't vote for the witch but granted you need to give her the credit she deserves.
