  1. Ok, Listen carefully to her speech, also listen to Obama's. Compare and use your head and justification skills, International and domestic government driving procedures . Obama is always 40% less capable of speaking , and remember, you have problems in speaking when you have lack in the feed of knowledge.

  2. Well, she lived in the white house. Did any of your life experiences count on your resume? If not you went to the wrong school.

  3. more than obama, tooooo long to list. i think obama biggest qualification was shift manager at mcdonalds

  4. Unfortunately, I think you should not answer your own question the way you did.

If you'll notice, the response you get is that she is more qualified "because" she was First Lady for the most part.

You liberals have to quit asking questions about your candidates like this.

This type of question only proves that both of your candidates are dismally unqualified!!!

  5. She already ran the country for the 8 years her husband was in.  So she shouldn't even run!!!!  LOL

  6. HEALTH CARE

The number of uninsured is growing and, if you think education is a more basic right than health, you aren't thinking rationally.

"A native of Illinois, Hillary Rodham attracted national attention in 1969 when she delivered an address as the first student to speak at commencement exercises for Wellesley College. She began her career as a lawyer after graduating from Yale Law School in 1973, moving to Arkansas and marrying Bill Clinton in 1975, following her career as a Congressional legal counsel; she was named the first female partner at Rose Law Firm in 1979 and was listed as one of the one hundred most influential lawyers in America in 1988 and 1991. She was the First Lady of Arkansas from 1979 to 1981 and 1983 to 1992, was active in a number of organizations concerned with the welfare of children, and was on the board of Wal-Mart and several other corporate boards.

As First Lady of the United States, she took a prominent position in policy matters. Her major initiative, the Clinton health care plan, failed to gain approval by the U.S. Congress in 1994, but in 1997 she helped establish the State Children's Health Insurance Program and the Adoption and Safe Families Act.

Rodham organized a two-day student strike and worked with Wellesley's black students for moderate changes, such as recruiting more black students and faculty.[27] In early 1968 she was elected president of the Wellesley

Rodham then entered Yale Law School, where she served on the Board of Editors of the Yale Review of Law and Social Action.[36] During her second year, she worked at the Yale Child Study Center,[37] learning about new research on early childhood brain development and working as a research assistant on the seminal work, Beyond the Best Interests of the Child (1973).[38][39] She also took on cases of child abuse at Yale-New Haven Hospital,[38] and volunteered at New Haven Legal Services to provide free advice for the poor.[37] In the summer of 1970, she was awarded a grant to work at Marian Wright Edelman's Washington Research Project, where she was assigned to Senator Walter Mondale's Subcommittee on Migratory Labor, researching migrant workers' problems in housing, sanitation, health and education;[40][41] Edelman would become a significant mentor to her.[41]

In the late spring of 1971, she began dating Bill Clinton, who was also a law student at Yale. That summer, she interned on child custody cases[42] at the Oakland, California, law firm of Treuhaft, Walker and Burnstein,[43][44] which was well-known for its support of constitutional rights, civil liberties, and radical causes;[44] two of its four partners were current or former communist party members.[44][45][46] Clinton canceled his original summer plans in order to live with her in an apartment in Berkeley, California,[47] later writing, "I told her I'd have the rest of my life for my work and my ambition, but I loved her and I wanted to see if it could work out for us."[47] The romance did develop, and the couple continued living together in New Haven when they returned to law school.[45] The following summer, Rodham and Clinton campaigned in Texas for unsuccessful 1972 Democratic presidential candidate George McGovern.[48][49] She received a Juris Doctor degree from Yale in 1973,[11] having spent an extra year there in order to be with Clinton.[50] Clinton first proposed marriage to her following graduation, but she declined at the time.[50] She began a year of post-graduate study on children and medicine at the Yale Child Study Center.[51] Her first scholarly article, "Children Under the Law", was published in the Harvard Educational Review in late 1973.[52] Discussing the new children's rights movement, it stated that "child citizens" were "powerless individuals"[53] and argued that children should not be considered equally incompetent from birth to attaining legal age, but rather courts should presume competence except when there is evidence otherwise, on a case-by-case basis.[54] The article became frequently cited in the field.[55]

As First Lady of Arkansas, Hillary Clinton chaired the Arkansas Educational Standards Committee from 1982 to 1992,[94] where she sought to bring about reform in the state's court-sanctioned public education system.[95][96] In one of the most important initiatives of the entire Clinton governorship,[95] she fought a prolonged but ultimately successful battle against the Arkansas Education Association[95] to put mandatory teacher testing as well as state standards for curriculum and classroom size in place.[95] She introduced Arkansas' Home Instruction Program for Preschool Youth in 1985, a program that helps parents work with their children in preschool preparedness and literacy.[97] She was named Arkansas Woman of the Year in 1983 and Arkansas Mother of the Year in 1984.[98]

Clinton served on the boards of the Arkansas Children's Hospital Legal Services (1988–1992)[105] and the Children's Defense Fund (as chair, 1986–1992).[106][13] In addition to her positions with non-profit organizations, she also held positions on the corporate board of directors of TCBY (1985–1992),[107] Wal-Mart Stores (1986–1992)[108] and Lafarge (1990–1992).[109] TCBY and Wal-Mart were Arkansas-based companies that were also clients of Rose Law.[88][110] Clinton was the first female member on Wal-Mart's board, added when chairman Sam Walton was pressured to name one;[110] once there, she pushed successfully for the chain to adopt more environmentally-friendly practices,[110][111] pushed largely unsuccessfully for more women to be added to the company's management,[110][111] and was silent about the company's famously anti-labor union practices.[111][110][108]

Along with Senator Ted Kennedy, she was the major force behind the State Children's Health Insurance Program in 1997, a federal effort that provided state support for children whose parents were unable to provide them with health coverage.[142] She promoted nationwide immunization against childhood illnesses and encouraged older women to seek a mammogram to detect breast cancer, with coverage provided by Medicare.[143] She successfully sought to increase research funding for prostate cancer and childhood asthma at the National Institutes of Health.[51] The First Lady worked to investigate reports of an illness that affected veterans of the Gulf War, which became known as the Gulf War syndrome.[51] Together with Attorney General Janet Reno, Clinton helped create the Office on Violence Against Women at the Department of Justice.[51] In 1997, she initiated and shepherded the Adoption and Safe Families Act, which she regarded as her greatest accomplishment as First Lady.[51] As First Lady, Clinton hosted numerous White House Conferences, including ones on Child Care (1997),[144] Early Childhood Development and Learning (1997),[145] and Children and Adolescents (2000),[146] and the first-ever White House Conferences on Teenagers (2000)[147] and Philanthropy (1999).[148]

Hillary Clinton traveled to 79 countries during this time,[149] breaking the mark for most-travelled First Lady held by Pat Nixon.[150] In a September 1995 speech before the Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing, Clinton argued very forcefully against practices that abused women around the world and in China itself,[151] declaring "that it is no longer acceptable to discuss women's rights as separate from human rights"[151] and resisting Chinese pressure to soften her remarks.[149] She was one of the most prominent international figures at the time to speak out against the treatment of Afghan women by the Islamist fundamentalist Taliban that had seized control of Afghanistan.[152][153] She helped create Vital Voices, an international initiative sponsored by the United States to promote the participation of women in the political processes of their countries.[154]" Wiki

  7. Barack all the way

  8. Good question, and one that some top syndicated columnists haven't been able to figure out either.

  9. Barack hasn't been a Senator as long as Hillary, so it *can* be the senator thing, especially since I note that he hasn't voted in many of the critical votes so that he can't be challenged on it.  In terms of foreign policy especially, Hillary has a significant amount of experience, and Bill's presence provides a huge boost on the world stage.  That's critical when we're talking about dealing with the war in Iraq - or attempting to get the President of Mexico to stop helping illegal immigrants cross the border.  Our "domestic issues" - are really 'world issues' - and if our leader doesn't have any foreign policy experience, then we're screwed.

Bill wasn't "new," either - he'd been the Governor of a state, which goes a long way in terms of budget and leadership versus merely voting in Congress - and getting paid by the lobbyists.  I'd say your basic thoughts are wrong in the first place.

By the way - "alot" isn't a word.  "A lot" is a geographic area.

You're going to vote for Barack, that's a given - and your post shows why.  Education, race and gender are all proving to be critical parts of this election.

  10. You make a great point, and I wish that Obama would more aggressively and forcefully make this same point to the American public.

The fact of the matter is that she touts her foreign "policy" experience, and bases it entirely off ceremonial trips to "80 different countries."  The closest she ever got to addressing policy, however, was making speeches.  Ironically, merely making speeches is her primary criticism of Obama, but that is exactly what she is trying to use to her advantage.

Since no policy deliberations were engaged in and no catastrophes were averted, Clinton is effectively claiming that she is qualified because she has taken a lot of trips.  If travel were a valid grounds to consider someone experienced, then Chelsea would be equally equipped to be commander-in-chief because she accompanied her mom on most of the trips.  Moreover, Tara Reid should be President because she visited over 100 countries while hosting the E TV show Taradise.  I struggle to understand how people can construe this as constituting a legitimate credential.

I am also troubled by people who seemingly vote for Hillary because of her genitalia.  Inverse sexism is still sexism, and those who are guilty of it have no reason to be upset by sexism when it works to their disadvantage because they are perpetuating the problem.

Furthermore, some people seem fond of Hillary because she is a regular, blue-collar person like them.  When did we start seeking mediocrity from our leaders?  I realize that Bush set the bar low, but shouldn't we aspire for leadership from those who are better than us, greater than us, smarter than us, etc.  Having an ordinary joe run the world has proven to be a recipe for disaster.

Lastly, instead of promoting her own positives, Hillary seems to devote ample time to attacking Obama.  She should be careful to sling mud while she is wearing white, however, because her attacks on Obama are relatively trivial (i.e., plagiarism...give me a break), yet she has some MAJOR skeletons in her closet that severely bring into question her integrity and judgment.

Sorry about the rant, but the whole thing is ridiculous, and it's sad that some people are incapable of seeing through the nonsense.

  11. Ran the country for 8 years! she just never got the official credit though she did get the  un-official credit. Billy is a wimp!

Additionally recall her great business ventures: Selling Pardons! remember, "pardon Me Hillary" She sold Bill signed and they sold them to the nicest folks, American hating, murderers.

According to local, state and federal prison services, they say the worst American hating, murdering group in their custody, keeps receiving "You are pre-approved for a Pardon" notices and then the sender is asking for a political campaign gift to be made to a certain candidate!

    Anyone else hear that?
