  1. I say this is another Hillary flip flop, she originally agreed to the DNC rules , now that she needs the delegates, she is changing her mind.

  2. she's correct..ALL votes should count..Obama says nope?

  3. If they are part of the Democratic Party, they must follow the rules of the Democratic Party. These states knew the rules, they screwed up. If they and Hillary's crowd don't like it, they can have their own convention as another party.

    Wouldn't that be fun.

  4. I say the state parties should have followed the rules to begin with and this never would have happened.

  5. Michigan and Florida broke the rules and got disinfranchised as a penalty.  Now Hillary wants to change the rules in the middle of the game because she is trailing Obama badly.

Neither candidate may reach the required number of delegates to be declared the winner. Therefore the DNC may have to change the rules and pay for it out of their own coffers while holding primaries in both states.

  6. Well, if the state parties don't follow the party's rules, there have to be consequences.  Otherwise, there would be no point in having the rule at all if it wasn't going to be enforced.

    .

  7. Democrats have frequently used the point of view that no one should be "disenfranchised" Hillary's position is consistant with that.

Should the voters of those states not have their votes counted because of an arbitrary rule?

Of course Hillary wants the votes counted because it is to her advantage and Obama doesn't because it is to his disadvantage.

  8. Un-American? No. Americans do rules just fine. Un-Democratic (capital D)? Yes.  God forbid a voter be "disenfranchised"!  (An egregious watering down of a term, no?  A 1960 Mississippi black man was disenfranchised; these people wasted their time.)  Un-Clintonian? Obviously.  Why let a little thing like a party rule, agreed upon in advance and known to candidates and voters alike, get in the way of getting a Clinton elected?

  9. I can say from the dems I hear from here in Florida this will come back to haunt the DNC in Nov

    The voters here are pissed

  10. She's calling the DNC members "un-American" for following the Democratic Party's rules?

Does she realize that the people she is insulting are superdelegates?

  11. People say anything when they are running for office.
