Hillary wants to give every new born child $5,000 bucks?

Libs like it, but Repo's call it welfare. If we give $5,000 to every pregnant woman in a secured account, only to be accessed by the child upon its retirement, and call it a tax break for the unborn, would Republicans agree to it, or change their minds on abortion?

  1. The government giving money out to anyone can't in any way imply a tax break, unless it's giving money back to those people from whom it was originally taken.  At any rate, you're massively faking a connection here; furthermore, I don't see what's good about the government spending $22 billion more per year than it already does.  The only way we can really have a tax break is for the government to stop spending (read: wasting) so much money on stupid little projects and programs; that way, the government will end up with more money than it can spend, and the best way to get rid of that money is to give it back to the people who originally paid it in before some bureaucrat's roving eye falls on this massive pile of money that's just lying around.

  2. lets cut welfare and let people keep more of the money they earn. then the people would keep their money and not give it to people who do not work. why would you want to give someones tax money to someone else?

  3. shes buying votes..but that one is tabled...for now

  4. The 5,000 bucks is good for those who really need it but this will encourage laziness for some people.  This might be one of the issues for which Hillary might not be good.

VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know who will likely win.

  5. How about giving every registered voter 5,000 bucks instead?

  6. it's a bond program, right ?

I heard that it could be used for college.

Doesn't the Government fund college financial aid programs and social security already ?

So isn't this just another way to use our tax dollars

  7. Her idea just might discourage abortions.  If this is the case, I think the Pro-Life movement should give her a little pat on the back.

  8. The plan is impossible which is why she has already backed away from it.

  9. Hillary is not the only one talking about a Savings Account like this, California has been debating it too. Here is the deal--upon birth in the United States (no citizenship required to receive which is where the liberals latch on and the conservatives jump away) each child would be granted 5,000 that could be accessed for education or retirement--something along those lines. Unfortunately there are not enough guidelines that would stop people from using this inappropriately. It could act as an incentive for immigrants to give birth here in the US, families could inappropriately use the money, or for over-reproduction, etc. This is the government fix to helping families w/no money learn how to save. There is no ceiling on income level to receive the $5,000 per child therefore every family is eligible (at least its all inclusive rather the exclusive). This is an irresponsible way to spend tax dollars as there are not enough guidelines as I stated earlier and not enough oversight for the entire process. Plus, another Department of the government would have to be created to dispense funds and oversee the everyday functions of this idea.

  10. The plan is completely ludicrous .People would be

crossing the border and having babies here just to

get $5,000 for each child .5 children equals $25,000 !!!!
