Hilux / hilux surf rear axle

Question

I have a hilux ln165 (mk4) with a knackered rear axle. does anyone know if a hilux surf rear axle will fit it?

the diff is stamped 35140 (may be a serial number) and 83c which may be a type number.

the diff i have is of the limited slip variaty.

any thoughts from anyone who has done this would be much appreciated.
