Him, her, and I are all in the same class..?!?

Question

OK so we got our school schedules a couple days ago and the guy I like is in one of my classes (home ec). I was so excited, having a class with him and being able to get closer to him and what not.

I've liked him for two years (I've also known him for two years), a couple months ago he asked me to "hook up" with him but I said no, and I really don't know why. But anyway.. Now I just found out the girl he's always kind of liked is in the class with us too!

I really want him to ask me to homecoming, so how do I grab his attention away from her and on to me? Not to sound S****y/cocky but I'm a cheerleader and I'll be wearing my super short cheerleading skirt on the first day of school (all the cheerleaders do it). That'll help right? Haha.

The skirt will help, as well as mentioning to him that you have been thinking about him a lot.

Make him feel like your a sure thing when it comes to companionship, and he will come running.

Make sure you sit by him, and start up a conversation with him. When you first walk into the classroom, take the seat next to him if there's no already a seating chart. Be flirty but not clingy. Hopefully the girl he likes doesn't like him back. Play with your hair, pretend to drop something and bend over, if he has a piece of paper in front of him, playfully doodle a smiley face or a heart on his paper.

Yeah, when he walks by in the hall smack him casually on the stomach, and wink at him. i've had girls do that and It's a turn on for some reason. Make sure you get to sit beside him.

You should get him out of class first. Talk to him then maybe about something for class. Make it funny. Make fun of your teacher or the weird smell in the classroom. Then when you go in the classrom continue what ever little silly joke. This gives you two an inside joke something she doesnt know about. Change your perfume and make sure you go near him after a nice refresh spray sometime during the day. When he smells that sweet smell of happy joking gorgeous you. He will fall all over you. Now if you think about this guy alot you should think about why and if he even deserves your time. Hope you are happy either way!

first of all, it's a good thing you didn't agree to hooking up. i'm not sure if you know what it means, but basically, its like a one night stand. if you would have hooked up, things would have been different between you guys, and you would have probably been heartbroken. that was a really good move on you're part...especially since guys like the chase. if you would have agreed, you would have been just another girl that came and went.

as for getting him to like you? be really friendly. even if that girl is around,talk to him like he's one of you're really good friends. bring up subjects like summer, and classes that you have. just any basic conversation will do. if the other girl comes around, dont act jealousor snotty...it'll only create drama. even though you probably want to choke her, dont let it show through. just give a nice smile...you dont even have to say anything to her.

if you're still not getting vibes that he likes you, than go right out and tell him. he'll like that fact that you're willing to have the guts to say it. make sure you do it in person, though.

the skirts fine, but i wouldnt recommend doing anything like bending over on purpose, or making yourselve look/sound like you want him TOO much. make him want you. like i said, guys like the chase.

you can't make him like you more, but if you really want to make an effort just be his friend. talk to him more often and get to know each other better.

Some ideas:

1) Talk to him about homecoming a lot - maybe tell him you're worried about not having anyone to go with (although that's a bit of a gamble if he thinks you're trying to seek help from him)

2) Make physical contact with him whenever you get a chance and it's not too awkward

3) Grow some ovaries and tell him that you'd like to give him a second chance

4) Spread a rumor about the other girl (again, a gamble)

That's what I can think of.  You probably shouldn't listen to all of it, but we're brainstorming here.
