Hinges that restrict to a certain angle?

where can i find hinges that stop at around 115 degrees? i only see 180 degree ones. is there a name for them? or are they just called 115 degree hinges

  1. Why don't you make some sort of a stopper. You can Mill a block to 65 degree and s***w it in next to the hinge. It probably wont last that long because of the torque at that point.

    I would put a stopper on what is hanging on the hinge. The mechanical foreman here says the same.


  2. If you are talking about a door, there is a stoper you can buy at a hardware store that goes on the hinge.

    You pull the pin out, put the stopper in position and replace the pin. They are adjustable too.

  3. if you mean for cabinet doors, they are available in 110 and 120 in the euro cup type hinge. try www.blum.com. there are different types depending on whether you have face frame or frameless type cabinets.

    if you mean for doors, it would be either an overhead stop or door closer.
