Hip hop - street dancer?

Question

Ok well im 15, and i have always been passionate about dancing since i was around 7 or something, but there was nowhere in my area that done the sort of dancing i love (hip hop - street dancing, also quite interested in break dancing) but just recently somewhere in my area has started it and im going to start it, this is all i really want to do in life and i am willing to work my hardest for it, but is it to late? how long do you need to do it for? is it a good career and how do u get in to being in music videos and stuff? can someone please give me a proper answer and information about it? thanks.xx

Come on now,you're 15 not 95 so with that said,if you have a dance studio near you that would be a good source or you might even have a Y.W.C.A.where Dance may be taught! Also if their are Dance contests in your area that might help you,sure hope this helps!

No its not too late at all! I'm 15 on the verge of 16 and I've been in the same position as you! Its been my dream and finally I have found somewhere I can dance and have fun. I'm not sure about the salary but you need to be good to get into the music videos and stuff :)

Also you need to stand out and be one of the best in your class to get into videos and such because your teacher may refer you to annother dancing school or audition. I hope you have a fantastic time and good luck for the future :)
