in the 80's annd 90's

with krs, juice crew, rakim, grandmaster, run dmc, tribe and so much more

don't get me wrong nas' new album was great but very few new stuff is hot

Absolutely hip hop was by far better than what they play on the radio these days. Hip Hop was much more creative and you had better MC's in the 80's and 90's.

yeah it was better, but we gotta remember that there was wack *** songs like these days back then too BUT there was more songs with substance :)
