Hip joint pain?? What kind of doc? etc?

Question

I've been having joint paint in my left hip for a couple of months now, I can't run or jog, and walking is becoming painful. I didn't do anything to injure it, it just began to hurt. I'm female, 32 yrs old.

I'm wondering what it could be? Also what kind of a doctor should I see? An Osteopathy doc? Any info you can provide would be great, thanks. :)

Also when I see the doc, what will they do? xray? mri?

it sounds similar to what i have..it first started the same way and it only got worse. what i have is ankylosing spondylitis. read more about it...
