Hip shaking help?

Does anyone know how to move there hips like shakira but just moving them when dancing in general if so can someone give me tips. Please and Thank-You!

  3. i think just to help imagine that you aekind of hitting a wall with your hip and it bounces back and think that its only ur hips moving try to keep your waist still and just move your hips....u should get comfortable with yourself and even practice so you know you look good or bad when you are dancing

  4. Ok step by step, heres how you do it:

    This is an exercise to get it right, gent or lady, and after a while do it without holding onto a wall.

    1.  Stretch out your arms infront of an place the palms of your hands flat on the wall infront of you.

    2.  Stand with feet close together, but body straight, lean against the wall, arms still straight.

    Now.....

    It is important to remember that hip movement does not come from the hips, but rather from the stomach.

    3.  Tuck in your bum, pull in your stomach, and move your hips in a horizontal motion  to point at oposite corners.

    4.  Be wary of moving yoru shoulders, this should be avoided at all costs, as this is not an exercise to loosen up your shoulders, but your hips.

    5.  The more you practise, the easier it will become.

    Tip:  Do not move your knees, that's cheating!
