hey

Ive been trying to find the ORIGINAL greek version of Hippocrates aphorism "life is short, [the] art long, opportunity fleeting, experience misleading and judgment difficult". i found this; "Ὁ βίος βραχύς, ἡ δὲ τέχνη μακρή, ὁ δὲ καιρὸς ὀξὺς, ἡ δὲ πεῖρα σφαλερὴ, ἡ δὲ κρίσις χαλεπή" but wanted to know if anyone knows if it is correct...or how i can find out if it is! I wouldnt mind the latin version if anyone happens to only know that instead! random question but please help! lol x*x

  1. You can get a very rough language translation from the Yahoo Babel Fish translator, - http://babelfish.yahoo.com/

When I ran your Greek through it seemed approximately correct.

Hope that helps. Best of luck!
