Hiring a 15 year old!!!?

Question

I'm looking for a summer job and possibly an after school job starting this august. I turn 16 in October, but I really need a job now, which I know is very limiting. I know I can babysit, mow lawns, etc, but I'm looking for a steady job preferably in retail or food. I'm open to anything, fast food, apparel, etc...

Tell me ANY store you know of, but if you follow this:

Actually, it is legal in the united states to start hiring at 14, the person would just need a work permit. I am 15 and am employed by our town's youth sports program. I don't know of many other places that hire that young, but just wanted to say that the first person was wrong.

It is against the law to hire under 16 in the USA.
