We are hiring on a part time basis a person who had injured their back a year prior. Our job is inside sales, no heavy lifting. We do not currently carry medical or business liability insurance (will get soon). Are there any risks hiring a person like this? How do we address?

  1. Beware! Some people need help with medical expenses. If he "slipped" on the floor, you'd have a problem.

  2. yes. he is more likely to get injured on the job and claim workmans comp , which will cost you money .

  3. look as long as he has been up front giv him a chance he obviously  wants 2wrk n didnt hide it from u so ther wont b any issues im sure!!
