The Japan international labelled that timing of London 2012 Olympic Games as ‘inconvenient’ as he will be with the national side when the Bundesliga starts.

On the other hand, FC Nuremberg manager Dieter Hecking expressed his delight on acquiring the player and admits that the side have brought in a very talented player who has proved himself in the Japanese League.
The tactician is confident that the midfielder will be able to make his mark in Germany and is looking forward to the player’s maiden campaign with Nuremberg.
“I am glad that the transfer has been completed. Kiyo is a good player in one-on-one situations and he exudes goal threat. I hope he manages to make the transition from the Japanese league to the Bundesliga as quickly as possible,”
