Japan’s top shuttlers Hiroyuki Endo and Kenichi Hayakawa displayed a perfect show in the arena and they managed to outplay Malaysia’s Thien How Hoon and Wee Kiong Tan in Men’s Doubles Group B clash at BWF Superseries Finals 2012 on Wednesday, December 12,
in China.
The in-form Hiroyuki and Kenichi, who are the second seeded shuttlers in the Men’s Doubles draw of the tournament, played with remarkable precision and managed to stamp their mark over their lower ranked Malaysian rivals in just 36 minutes.
Japanese shuttlers started their campaign in a controlled and commanding manner and they remained successful in winning this battle in straight games with a huge margin on the score board.
On the other hand, the lower ranked Thien How and Wee Kiong could not put up strong show as they failed to play positive badminton and eventually bowed down to their higher ranked Japanese challengers in two sets.
Hiroyuki and Kenichi performed extremely well from the starting points of first set as they played with phenomenal speed and grabbed the control easily.
Hiroyuki and Kenichi proved that they have attained top quality skills on court and eventually remained successful in taking a strong position in the arena.
Hiroyuki and Kenichi did not show any sign of confusion as they remained in complete command of rallies and maintained a huge gap until the one-minute interval.
The confused Thien How and Wee Kiong failed to play positive game after the one-minute interval as they could not stay focused and remained struggling.
Meanwhile, Hiroyuki and Kenichi did not slow down the pace of the game at any stage and easily clinched the first game with a stunning 21-13 margin on the board.
Hiroyuki and Kenichi did not lose their superiority at any stage in the starting half of second set as they played aggressive badminton and easily set up a huge lead until the break.
After the one-minute interval, the higher ranked Hiroyuki and Kenichi stayed quick and positive on court and they easily won the second game with a staggering margin of 21-17.
