Hirzl becomes the official glove of Ladies European Tour
Hirzl AG of Switzerland has been nominated as the official glove of the Ladies European Tour and will be handed over to the players as the glove of choice during upcoming events. Hirzl, in return, will provide all the required amount of accessories needed
by the players apart from the endorsement amounts.
Hirzl has a long history of supporting women golf and has contributed immensely in the development of the same. Recently, the company hired the services of Dubai-based German professional golfer, Elisabeth Esterl, as the brand ambassador.
“We are extremely happy about the new partnership with HIRZL. The company sees the prime opportunity to gain considerable credit for building the market that the LET offers,” said Axel Kaulmann, the Ladies European Tour’s Commercial Director.
As part of the deal, the players playing in the LET events will have access to the high-tech gloves and LET in return will promote the glove on its official website as well as the Facebook page. The glove incorporates the cutting edge GRIPPP™ technology,
indigenously developed by the Hirzl technicians.
The company uses Kangaroo leather in the glove manufacturing, which is known for its durability and exclusive features like dynamic flexibility and tensile strength. The kangaroo skin not only provides better grip than the ordinary leather, but also increases
the pliability of the texture.
Two different brands of the Hirzl gloves are available in the market; Trust Control and Trust Feel, which are manufactured using the same technique of GRIPPP™ but their application varies to the conditions of the course as well as the players selection criteria.
Bagher Pirouz, CEO of Hirlz AG, said, “Of all the areas where we can invest time and resource the LET is a competitive arena where we can make the most meaningful contribution over the shortest period of time. We have the people and resources in place to
make a great impact on the LET and further our own plans to grow within the professional game.”
With the beginning of 2011, Hirzl also took a turn and unfurled their latest technology in the glove manufacturing research, the SOFFFT™ New Generation Cabretta Glove.
Cabretta faced a severe drawback of losing its performance from its first use and Hirzl’s customers, who have been associated with the company, were taken aback by this drawback. Hirzl later moved quickly to remove the fault in the design which was predominantly
caused by the player’s perspiring hands and moisture and friction.
SOFFFT™ technology involves 30 stages of tanning process of leather before drawn down into the fabric used for glove manufacturing. The hand-stitched finishing, later, involves 42 stages before the glove is dispatched for packaging and supply.
The precision and painstaking monitoring of the entire manufacturing process makes Hirzl one of the best golf glove manufacturers in the world.
