Hispania Racing Team’s Vitantonio Liuzzi is very motivated for Sepang race – Formula 1 Update
Formula 1 Hispania Racing Team driver Vitantonio Liuzzi has recently updated the media that he is very motivated for the Malaysian Grand Prix, as the team has better prepared themselves and are conscious of what they need to do in their first race of 2011
Formula 1 season. He also mentioned that he is sure that things will be different from the Melbourne race, where they only managed a few practice laps and failed to qualify for the Australian race.
The Spanish team did not take part into the Melbourne race because they were unable to follow the 107 percent rule of Formula 1.
Before the start of this season, HRT’s Liuzzi informed the media about the fact that supportive points are possible for the team, if both drivers make the new F111 car reliable in their initial races.
He believed that since the new updates have been installed with the Cosworth engine and the Williams’ gearbox, it will certainly minimise the reliability issues of the car, during the race.
He added for the Sepang race, "The expectations for Malaysia are to get back to normality. We know that the car has potential and we hope that we will be able to get all updates on the cars. The 107 percent should not be an issue under normal circumstances."
On the other hand, Liuzzi’s team-mate Narain Karthikeyan told the media that he is very hopeful about the second race of this season and that he expects to qualify in the race. He also mentioned that he has believed HRT will surprise people with its encouraging
performance in the Malaysian Grand Prix.
Karthikeyan ignored all the personal issues of HRT and encouraged himself for the up-coming race. He said, "The majority of the work is done, but the fine details just go on and on and on. You needed a complete car or it doesn't make any sense to go out.
We know it is a really bad situation but there's no point in complaining about it."
The team will start their race in the new F111 car on 10 April, at the Sepang circuit in Malaysia.
