Question:

Hissing noise-loud-now tv will not turn on at all

3yr old 26" purchased new. No problems til last night. Tv was on, made a loud hissing noise, followed by a crackling noise and now will not work at all. Is it a goner or should i invest money to find out if it can be fixed. in my area that would cost about $100. ThanksAnn
